Terms of use

1. Preamble

These Terms of Use define the conditions under which Web3 Digital Wallet provides access to its Wallet Provider platform, administration interface, wallet configuration services, wallet distribution tools, and related APIs.

By accessing or using the service, the user, administrator, organization, or any person acting on behalf of an organization agrees to comply with these Terms of Use.

2. Legal information

The service is provided by WEB3 DIGITAL WALLET, a simplified joint-stock company registered in France under SIREN 910 399 435, RCS Chartres, with its registered office at 112 Rue des Tuileries, 28260 Saint-Ouen-Marchefroy, France.

3. Description of the service

Wallet Provider is a platform that allows organizations to configure, manage, and distribute digital wallet experiences based on decentralized identity, verifiable credentials, and wallet interoperability standards.

The service may include:

• organization administration and user management;
• wallet branding and configuration;
• guest and named-user wallet distribution;
• external issuer configuration;
• API keys for automated member management;
• technical tools for testing wallet configuration and QR code distribution.

The service is intended for professional and organizational use. Some generated links or QR codes may be shared publicly by an authorized administrator when this is required for wallet onboarding.

4. Administrator responsibilities

Administrators are responsible for ensuring that their organization uses the platform lawfully and in accordance with applicable regulations.

Administrators must:

• create and manage members only for legitimate organizational purposes;
• ensure that public guest links and QR codes are shared only with the intended audience;
• protect API keys, administrator credentials, and access links;
• delete or revoke access when it is no longer required;
• verify that the wallet configuration and issuer information published to users is accurate.

5. API keys

API keys allow external systems to interact with the organization account, for example to create, activate, suspend, or remove members. API keys are scoped to one organization.

API keys are displayed only once when created. Administrators must store them securely and revoke them immediately if they are lost, exposed, or no longer needed.

6. Wallet users

Wallet users may receive a wallet configuration through a QR code, a public link, or an invitation issued by an authorized organization. Users remain responsible for the security of their mobile device, wallet application, PIN code, recovery phrase, private keys, and any credentials stored in their wallet.

Web3 Digital Wallet does not ask users to disclose private keys, recovery phrases, PIN codes, or other wallet secrets.

7. Verifiable credentials and third-party issuers

The service may enable organizations to reference external issuers or credential services. Each issuer remains responsible for the credentials it issues, the information it requests, and its own legal notices, privacy policy, and user journey.

Web3 Digital Wallet provides configuration and distribution tools but does not guarantee the accuracy, legality, or availability of third-party issuer services.

8. Security and prohibited use

Users and administrators must not:

• attempt unauthorized access to the platform, APIs, or another organization account;
• interfere with the normal operation or security of the service;
• use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, or harmful purposes;
• publish false, inaccurate, or misleading wallet configuration or credential information;
• share API keys or administrator credentials with unauthorized persons.

Web3 Digital Wallet may suspend or restrict access where necessary to protect the platform, users, organizations, or third parties.

9. Personal data

Personal data processing is described in the Privacy Policy. Depending on the use case, the organization using the platform may act as data controller for member data, while Web3 Digital Wallet may act as service provider or processor for platform operation.

Organizations are responsible for informing their users and members about the legal basis and purpose of any processing they initiate through the platform.

10. Availability and changes

Web3 Digital Wallet aims to provide reliable service access but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, technical incidents, network failures, third-party service issues, or force majeure events may affect the service.

These Terms of Use may be updated from time to time. The applicable version is the one published on this page.

11. Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will first seek an amicable resolution before bringing the matter before the competent courts.
